By applying for the TAB Cyber Foundation Scholarship ("Scholarship"), the applicant ("Applicant") agrees to the following terms and conditions:

Eligibility Criteria

Citizenship and Residency
-
Applicant must be a citizen of the United States.

Applicant must currently reside in the State of Texas.

Field of Study
-
Applicant must be pursuing a career in the cybersecurity field, either through enrollment in an accredited post-secondary educational institution, a vocational training program, or a recognized certification program related to cybersecurity.

Age Requirement

Applicant must be under the age of 25 at the time of application submission.

Documentation
-
Applicant must be able to provide valid and verifiable documentation supporting all information provided in the application, including but not limited to:

Proof of U.S. citizenship

Proof of Texas residency
-
Proof of age
-
Proof of financial need
-
Official academic transcripts (GPA)
-
Proof of enrollment or acceptance into an eligible university, college, or training program

Award Disbursement

Direct Payment
-
All scholarship funds shall be paid directly to the accredited educational institution or program specified in the application. No funds shall be disbursed directly to the Applicant under any circumstance.

Acceptance of Award

Awards must be accepted in writing at the time of notification. Failure to formally accept the scholarship within the specified timeframe shall result in forfeiture of the award.

Scholarships cannot be deferred. If the Applicant wishes to receive a scholarship at a later date, they must reapply during the appropriate award cycle.
General Provisions

Disqualification and Revocation
-
The Scholarship Committee reserves the right to disqualify or revoke the award if:

Any information provided by the Applicant is found to be false, misleading, or incomplete;
-
The Applicant fails to maintain good academic standing;
-
The Applicant fails to meet ongoing eligibility requirements as determined by the Committee;
-
The Applicant violates the terms outlined herein.

Use of Name and Likeness

By accepting the award, the Applicant grants the Scholarship Committee and its partners the right to use the Applicant’s name, photograph, and likeness for promotional and marketing purposes without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law.

Non-Transferability
-
The scholarship award is non-transferable and may only be used by the Applicant for the approved educational or training program specified at the time of application.

Final Authority
-
All decisions made by the Scholarship Committee regarding eligibility, selection, and award distribution are final and binding.
5. Changes to Terms
-
The Scholarship Committee reserves the right to modify or cancel any portion of the Scholarship program and these Terms and Conditions at its sole discretion, without prior notice, where permitted by law.
